BLS Healthcare Provider Course

This course provides the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. It is intended for healthcare providers who work in a variety of settings.

CPR for Family and Friends

CPR for Family and Friends awareness program provides rescue skills in CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. The course includes the AHA chain of survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults, infants and children.

The Heartsaver AED Course

The Heartsaver AED Course provides basic techniques for the learner in adult CPR and how to use an AED.  Included in the course is the correct use of barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. (Pediatric CPR may be taught if students live or work in a setting where children are present).

About the Instructor:

Kathy Gramlich, RN, BSN, MA

Kathy has over 20 years experience as a critical care nurse with the last 8 years working as an education specialist.  She has been an  American Heart Association  BLS instructor for over 10 years in the Kansas City community.

Classroom Schedule:

Tuesday Wednesday Thursday AHA BLS Healthcare Provider initial and renewal CPR. $30 6pm -10pm AHA Friends and Family CPR. $20 6-9 pm AHA Heartsaver AED (Adult CPR/AED) $30 6-10 pm
